Changing the Economics of Integration

Purpose

We formed SQLstream in December 2002 to implement our vision, born of many decades' experience, that there is a fundamentally better way to resolve data and application integration.  It has natural relevance to a very broad range of industries and application areas.

Paradigm and Technology

Using our new paradigm, we have implemented a revolutionary technology, changing the very cost-benefit calculations that typically drive adoption (or rejection) of such integration projects or technologies.

Most people find this new paradigm extremely simple, intuitive, and natural:  It is called Relational Asynchronous Messaging (RAM).  Firmly grounded in the technology and theory of Relational Databases, RAM extends that relational world to enable querying flowing data, both in the present and in the future.

Results

Our patented middleware implementing RAM, called SQLstream, provides you with a dramatically better way to integrate your applications and data.  SQLstream offers you much lower cost of ownership and superior execution efficiency compared with prior technologies.

SQLstream makes it easier to manage and reuse your applications and data in new or enhanced ways, without complex reprogramming or expensive external consultants.

Methods

Our breakthrough RAM technology is a new integration paradigm, in which you use SQL to specify all of your data integration logic declaratively. You not only work in a proven, trusted high-level language, but also leverage existing investments in SQL skills.

SQLstream can generate business answers as soon as the input data become available. It does this by querying and processing the data directly on the wire without any prior staging in a database. SQLstream delivers its results continuously as streams of output messages to business process flows, applications, services or end users throughout your organization.

Company

SQLstream is a Delaware Corporation, privately funded and registered in California, headquartered in historic San Francisco on Market Street, close to City Hall and opposite San Francisco's beautiful Conservatory of Music.

SQLstream has been cash-flow positive since 2006 with income from its mainly Fortune 500 customer base.

Customers

SQLstream offers its solutions directly to SQL proficient Fortune 500 Enterprises, end-users customers but also offers its technology to Systems Integrator partners and OEM/VAR resellers. Typically, these OEM/VAR resellers are Independent Software Vendors who utilize our RAMMS (RAM Management System) to provide a real-time data integration engine within their own applications and solutions.

SQLstream's RAMMS and related solutions are currently being bid on multi-million dollar data integration projects by large publicly traded Systems Integrators. The precise nature of these partnerships and deals is confidential and they are covered by mutual non-disclosure agreements.
