The RAMMS (Relational Asynchronous Messaging Management System – analogous to RDBMS) provides a Control Node for managing the entire RAMMS, including all of the metadata and stream processing, and the RAMPs (Relational Asynchronous Message Processors). |

SQLstream offers a rich set of adapters that allow easy input and output of data into its RAMMS, along with transformation of streams. |
| SQLstream Change Data Capture (CDC) |
SQLstream supports RDBMS adapters that automate instrumentation of RDBMS, reading the database schema to extract the metadata and then automating the capture of transactions to selected tables (insert, update, upsert, and delete). |
| SQLstream SDK |
SQLstream also offers a Software Development Kit (SDK) which enables the easy construction of any required adapter. In this way, SQLstream's RAMMS can be extended to provide any kind of processing logic to enhance and extend its already powerful SQL engine. |
