Feasibility Analysis

SQLstream assists in scoping out applications and solutions where there may be a fit with our SQLstream RAMMS technology.

In a Feasibility Analysis, we examine your current solution along with its context and business environment, including the tools and technology you are familiar with or have already installed. We also look at the development standards or related constraints that are already in place.

We then take a look at the challenges you are facing, which often take one or more of the following needs:

  • Minimizing the pain of migrating from one application and/or database and data model to a new application, database or data model

  • Integrating a new application into an existing application-and-systems environment

  • Integrating an existing application into a new applications-and-systems environment

  • Merging two distinct application-and-systems environments

  • Evolving an application from a batch-based approach into a near-real-time, continuous operating modus operandi

  • Creating a new application from scratch to process complex data, possibly with rapidly changing rules or requirements that make conventional approaches struggle

  • Creating a new application to process large volumes of flowing or changing data

  • Creating a new application to perform continuous, or near-real-time processing

We will propose a variety of solutions along with tradeoff pros and cons. We will recommend the most appropriate technology and often include third-party alternatives to SQLstream's own technology. If there is a more appropriate, lower cost solution that we are aware of, we will recommend that approach.

We work to a fixed price for Feasibility. The deliverables are a written report of our findings, a presentation summarizing them, and an estimated cost for the leading solution candidates, along with a rough project plan.
